We at Ascension are hoping you are having a tremendous fall (or at least as much of a fall as you can find in the deep south!)

Our Church and Christian community is privileged to be a part of the 500th anniversary of the worldwide Reformation begun in 1517 when Martin Luther nailed the 95 Theses to the Wittenberg church door.  And bringing the church back to the Bible alone to determine doctrine and life was what Martin Luther had in mind. The Gospel of Jesus Christ had been overlooked and sometimes non-existent for hundreds of years. The re-discovery that “the just or righteous shall live by faith” in Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for man’s sin and our reconciliation back to God is the foundation for the Church that follows Christ and His Word! Ascension is holding special services on October 29, November 5 and 12 that will help us understand how God’s grace saves us from our sin, and saves us to be participants in His Kingdom now to serve mankind and demonstrate God’s love in Christ so that more people can become part of this glorious Kingdom that will last forever! These special services are at 8 and 10:30 am Sunday Mornings!
