From June 6-10, 2022, Ascension Lutheran Church  will hold a Bible Camp called The Tree of Life: God’s Promise of Salvation. This VBS examines God’s plan of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ. Each session of this VBS explores Bible accounts that guide us through the epic story of salvation, from creation in the beginning of Genesis, to the cross of Christ in the beginning of the New Testament, and finally to Jesus’ return on the Last Day in the Book of Revelation. Beginning in the New Year on January 9, 2022, Ascension Lutheran will begin a Living Discipleship course on Christina Faith and life. Having begun as a mission congregation in 1982, we outgrew our original location on Hwy 90 across from Home Depot to our current location at 8888 County Rd 64. In September of 2017 a group of members, with permission of congregation, researched the feasibility of opening a school onsite. After a years’ worth of research the committee recommended to the members that there was sufficient evidence for our location to start a school.
